Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced bid professional to coordinate and deliver complex bids. You will guide strategy, pre-tender work, EOI, PQQ, ITT, and pitches, coordinating with technical leads and authors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality proposals.

You will lead bid teams, leverage Copilot and Office365 for efficient collaboration, and ensure adherence to organisational procedures, adopting best practices across all bid activities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering bids from inception to close.
• Experience leading bid teams.
• Strong influencing and communication skills.
• Flexible, mobile, able to meet client-driven deadlines.
• Proficient with tools: Office365, Copilot, InDesign, MS Project, MS Dynamics CRM.
• Degree level or equivalent qualifications preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Use Copilot effectively to support the organisation and coordination of bids;
• Oversee the delivery of all aspects of the bid process from strategy, pre-tender preparation, expression of interest (EOI), PQQ, ITT, pitch presentations and feedback;
• Plan and manage a bid from the outset to closure;
• Work closely with technical leads, authors and all other members of the bid team;
• Ensure compliance with AtkinsRéalis procedures and the adoption of best practice;
• Lead the production of high-quality proposals and other collateral.

Requirements

• Proven track record of successfully delivering bids from early inception and client information capture;
• Demonstrable experience in leading bid teams;
• Strong influencing skills;
• Mobile and flexible individual available to manage and deliver to time schedules driven by clients;
• Competent and confident bid writer;
• Ability to maximise the use of tools such as Office365, Copilot, InDesign, MS Project, MS Dynamics CRM, and industry recognised sales techniques such as Miller Heiman and Huthwaites;
• Degree level and equivalent professional qualifications preferred.
