Property Team Manager - 4-Day work week paid for 5!
Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + up to £5,000 in TPI bonuses (MTPI)
Role Overview
This is a leadership opportunity focused on managing, developing, and supporting a team of c.10 Property Managers (ranging from junior to senior levels). You’ll be central to driving team performance, managing client expectations, resolving escalations, and delivering service improvements that align with company growth targets.
Team Responsibilities
    Lead and manage a team of approximately 10 Property Managers
    Oversee team attendance, performance, and development
    Conduct regular 1-2-1s for welfare, progression, and goal setting
    Review team output, ensuring high standards and reporting results to senior leadership
    Support the team with meetings, problem-solving, and challenging portfolios
    Monitor SLAs, budgets, site visits, and ensure consistent delivery of service
    Drive client feedback initiatives and implement improvement strategies
    Provide guidance on budgeting and expenditure forecasts
    Assist in training new staff and progressing existing team members
Client Responsibilities
    Conduct regular site audits and maintain portfolio oversight
    Handle complaint escalations and feedback
    Communicate directly with clients, ensuring strong relationships are maintained
Company Responsibilities
    Ensure compliance with Landlord & Tenant Act, RICS and ARMA guidelines
    Promote company policy and legislative best practice across the team
    Identify opportunities for growth and retention
    Support new business development
    Progress toward MTPI within the first year (if not already qualified)
Candidate Criteria
    Minimum ATPI qualification (MTPI preferred or willingness to work toward)
    Excellent reliability, timekeeping, and ability to work independently
    Strong administrative, leadership, and multitasking skills
    Calm under pressure, proactive in conflict resolution
    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
    Personable, confident, and enthusiastic team player
Salary & Benefits
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 base + up to £5,000 in TPI qualification bonuses (MTPI)
