Job summary

North Devon Homes is seeking an experienced building surveyor to undertake inspections such as stock condition surveys, HHSRS assessments, void inspections, and energy assessments. You will identify defects, diagnose repairs, and oversee works to ensure quality, compliance and value for money.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external contractors, ensuring adherence to CDM and health & safety standards.

Qualifications

• HNC/NVQ Level 3 in Building Studies or a trade qualification is required.
• Strong knowledge of building defects, repair specifications and CDM regulations.
• Experience in managing contractors and delivering projects to budget and quality.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a broad range of inspections including stock condition surveys and energy assessments.
• Identify defects, diagnose repairs and oversee work to ensure quality and value for money.
• Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and health & safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external contractors to resolve issues and deliver services.
