Job Title: Property Surveyor

Location: Bracknell, Berkshire

Salary: Up to £46,200 per annum DOE

The Employer:

We are looking to fill the role of a Property Surveyor within a housing environment. Our client is ambitious with a five-year plan focused on creating a sustainable future for social housing, building new homes, and investing in existing ones to foster vibrant communities.

The Role:

• Carrying out property surveys to identify repair solutions.
• Managing and resolving challenging projects while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Collaborating with contractors, clients, and in-house teams to maintain housing standards.
• Preparing work schedules and project management support, including quotations for minor and major works.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance across all projects.
• Providing technical support to the legal department regarding disrepair or legal claims.

The Candidate will need:

• Extensive experience with domestic dwellings from a technical management perspective, with an understanding of the built environment.
• Good knowledge of building diagnosis and fault-finding.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation related to housing management and construction.
• Experience in project management of contracts, including developing specifications and managing health and safety.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.
• Full driving license and access to own transport, or ability to travel as needed.
• Qualification in a construction-related field (HNC/HND or equivalent).
• Membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (advantageous).

Summary:

This is a full-time, permanent position working 37 hours per week. An enhanced DBS check is required or already held.
