As part of the LegalServices team within the Resources Directorate, you'll be joining a supportiveand professional environment that values collaboration, innovation, and publicservice excellence.

The role
Asa Property Lawyer, you'll manage your own caseload and provide expertlegal advice and support on a wide range of property-related matters. Yourresponsibilities will include:

  • Handling residential acquisitions, lease renewals, and title queries
  • Advising on statutory residential property matters, including Council charges
  • Managing Land Registry applications and related documentation
  • Supporting commercial and residential property transactions
  • Advising on local government law in relation to property development
  • Drafting complex legal documents and liaising with internal and external stakeholders


What you'll need to succeed
To besuccessful in this role, you'll need:

  • To be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a current practising certificate
  • Strong experience in property law
  • A solid understanding of commercial and residential property transactions
  • Experience advising on local authority property matters is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
