If so, my client, based in St. Albans, is looking for a talented Property Solicitor to join their established firm and play a pivotal role in their growing property department.

In this exciting role, you will work on a diverse range of residential and/or commercial property transactions, providing exceptional service to their valued clients. You will have the opportunity to utilise your legal expertise and contribute to the continued success of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage conveyancing files from exchange of contracts to completion, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Conduct Land Registry searches to verify ownership and identify any restrictions on the property.
  • Oversee all aspects of a complete caseload, including client communication, document preparation, and liaising with external parties.
  • Liaise with clients to gather information, answer questions, and address concerns.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, transfers, and completion statements.
  • Obtain necessary insurance policies to protect clients’ interests.
  • Prepare financial statements and manage client funds in accordance with regulations.
  • Handle communication with mortgage lenders and ensure all title certificates are accurate.
  • Manage incoming mail and prepare case files for secure storage.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in taking conveyancing transactions from initial instruction to registration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of property law and conveyancing procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working within a legal framework and adhering to professional codes of conduct.
  • A qualification as a Legal Executive or Paralegal would be an advantage.
  • Monday – Friday (9:00 – 5:30)
