Job description

The Property Helpdesk Administrator will support the management and delivery of all aspects of the Property Services function to uphold HC-One standards as the first choice care home provider. They will assist our Homes and colleagues, especially those who are new or developing, serving as a primary contact for Homes, HC-One colleagues, and external Contractors regarding Property requests. Responsibilities include inputting, monitoring, and querying all maintenance job requests, managing and resolving queries, disputes, and chasing up raised jobs, and ensuring maintenance issues are addressed promptly and to high standards.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a busy, multi-disciplined office environment, with a good working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and email. Excellent communication skills, an assertive and confident manner, and experience in handling correspondence and telephone enquiries professionally are essential. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility; therefore, candidates must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. Attendance at safeguarding training and additional role-specific training is required. The ability to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary is also important.
