Overview

Bristol City Council are looking for an Interim Property Planner.

Responsibilities

• Assess assets in terms of suitability and sufficiency to ensure the needs of service users are met.
• Work within the Council's Property Division to review, evaluate and implement property solutions to enable the most efficient delivery of services.
• Collaborate with other public sector bodies, partners and the voluntary sector to facilitate improved services and coordinated asset management planning across boundaries.
• Develop and maintain close working relationships with services at all levels to pro-actively support and challenge optimum use of property resources in planning and implementing service delivery.
• Work with services to understand how service strategy, changes in legislation and changes in demand will affect property requirements and express this in service asset management plans.
• Hybrid working with in-office presence 2 days a week.
• No direct reports but operate within a wider team of 10.
• Potential for a 1-5 site visits each week.
