Job description

Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for a Property Officer/Administrator to cover a 9 month maternity cover contract on behalf of our client based in Luton.

Must have previous Property Admin experience.

The Role:

  • You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of primarily residential properties, along with some commercial properties.
  • This role includes property inspections, maintenance coordination, tenant relations, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • The Property Officer will work closely with contractors, tenants, and the management team to ensure smooth property operations.
  • You will also process invoices and pick up and scan the office post daily.

This varied and interesting role will also include covering the reception desk, car parking management, fire safety and compliance and general finance and office administration.

Key Requirements:

  • Must be pro-active, self-motivated, and confident with the ability to work efficiently and take ownership of your role.
  • Good administration and customer service/people skills are essential.
  • IT proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to work effectively to deadlines and multi-task.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5 pm with one hour for lunch.
