Job Description:

Residential Management Group (RMG), a market-leading Property Management Company, is looking for a Property Manager with experience in block/estate management. We manage small and large blocks and estates for RMCs (Resident Management Companies), L&T (Landlord & Tenant), and Developers.

This is a great career opportunity to join a large, organically growing, market-leading managing agent. You'll work alongside an experienced and supportive team of property management professionals, led by a highly experienced senior management team. Location:

Working site-based and from home, you'll be conveniently located to visit developments across the North West/Manchester/Merseyside and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing an established residential portfolio of blocks and estates, utilizing your knowledge of the Building Safety Act, governance around property management, and experience managing Higher Risk Buildings and complex developments, including overseeing cladding remediation.
  • Carrying out and monitoring services in line with service level agreements and lease terms.
  • Constructing and monitoring budgets for service charges and funding necessary works.
  • Leading meetings with RMC Directors, Residents' Associations, and Developers, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Ensuring sites are compliant with Health & Safety and M&E requirements.
  • Maintaining thorough documentation of site visits and meetings.
  • Promptly identifying and carrying out maintenance to prevent further damage.
  • Following consultation procedures and managing major works projects, including serving Section 20 notices.

Candidate requirements:

  • Experience in block/estate property management.
  • Understanding of leases, service charge budgeting, and relevant legislation.
  • Knowledge of the Building Safety Act and managing Higher Risk Buildings.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally.
  • Attention to detail, proficiency with Excel, and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Confident with a customer-centric approach.
  • Full UK driving license and own vehicle.
