Tiger is partnered with a UHNWI seeking a Property Manager for their estate in Bedford, New York. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of the property / estate. The Property Manager will lead and manage the grounds and staff who will submit daily direct reports. This is a hands-on, managerial role requires the utmost attention to detail while spearheading the operations and upkeep of the grounds. Must have a lot of experience with gardening/landscaping.

Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for the upkeep of all landscape areas
  • Maintaining gardens using mowers, trimmers, and other equipment
  • Seasonal gardening tasks like mulching, pruning, weeding, and leaf clean up.
  • Clearing snow during the winter.
  • Maintaining paths, driveway, fences and outbuildings.
  • Maintaining kitchen garden and orchard. These have been ‘let go’ over the years so a willingness to bring them back would be a bonus
  • Ensuring outdoor furniture and other decorative elements are clean and maintained.
  • Responding to the tenants’ concerns, handling changeover between tenancies, keeping an eye on both rented properties and acting as our representative.
  • Handling minor repairs or overseeing contractors.
  • Working with us to coordinate larger maintenance and construction projects.
  • Running errands as needed.
  • Occasional driving like airport pick-ups when we visit.
  • Ensuring the property gets sufficient heat during the winter.
  • Checking fuses, boiler, security and alarm systems.
  • Ensuring the house is clean and tidy while we are away.

Qualifications:

  • At least eight to ten years of experience in a similar role.
  • Honesty, integrity, complete transparency with and loyalty to owners
  • Critical thinker, able to define problems, analyze and present solutions.
  • Well organized with excellent attention to detail
