Job description

We are seeking a Property Manager to maintain both commercial and/or residential properties, and liaise with our Hotels' maintenance team and General Managers to ensure top condition of our owned sites.

Working alongside colleagues within the Property and Maintenance team, the Property Manager responsibilities include;

  • Directly responsible for a portfolio of commercial and residential rental properties, reporting back to Group Directors
  • Dealing with quotations and pro-actively ensuring repairs are completed to standard, in house team or contractors
  • Arranging for contractors and own maintenance team to visit the properties- hotels and bars as well as residential properties
  • Check requirement, costings and authorise repairs in time efficient manner
  • Authorising purchasing of equipment within authorisation framework
  • Act as liaison between Company, Tenants and Contractors
  • Submit monthly reports to Group Board
  • Notify and manage damage/ insurance claims
  • Ensuring rents are paid on time
  • Taking appropriate action where rents are in arrears, up to and including evictions and court orders where necessary
  • Dealing with queries from tenants- and/ of hotel General Managers
  • Maintaining licensing files and all compliance details (online system)
  • Holding and maintaining compliance folders, ensuring required actions are completed, incl. booking in audits, testing and checks e.g. PAT testing, lift check, fire audits
  • Working with administrator and small maintenance team across properties ensuring Hotels are maintained to high standards

We require a proactive and positive Property Manager, who has strong communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritise a busy workload and a high attention to detail.

Whilst this is an office based role there will be a need to visit commercial and residential properties in the local area.

Due to the nature to of the role full driving licence and own vehicle is required.

It is essential you also have proven successful experience within property management.
