Job Title: Experienced Property Maintenance Technician
Location: South Yorkshire (Further afield on occasions - No overnight stays)
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Property Maintenance Technician with proven experience in property maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver, highly organized, and committed to providing a professional high quality service at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on residential and/or commercial properties
  • A multi-skilled approach to all works - the role is extremely varied
  • Troubleshoot and repair, general property maintenance, basic plumbing and electrical works
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls
  • Ensure properties meet safety, health, and compliance standards
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed via tablet diary, materials used, and time spent
  • Apply a professional approach at all times, whether directly with the client or tenant
Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of experience in property/building maintenance or related field
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
  • Ability to read technical manuals, and work orders
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, climb ladders, and perform manual labor as needed
  • Preferred but not required: Basic knowledge of electrical or plumbing, or other relevant trade certifications
