Job description

Overview

The National Trust for Jersey is currently recruiting for a full-time Property Maintenance Operative to assist with the repair and maintenance of the Trust’s 36 properties (residential, site hires and visitor sites). The job involves carrying out general building repairs, maintenance, painting and gardening duties.

As part of the Properties Team this varied role will also include elements of building inspection, landscaping and supporting the wider work of the Trust through its visitor sites and events. It offers the success candidate the opportunity to make a real and lasting contribution to our work protecting and safeguarding Jersey's built and natural heritage.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out general building repairs, maintenance, painting and gardening duties at Trust properties.
• Support the Properties Team with building inspection, landscaping and related activities.
• Support the Trust through its visitor sites and events.
