Real Estate Litigation Senior Associate – 7+ PQE

Salary £80,000 - £100,000

City of London

A progressive and friendly Legal 100 firm with a top tier team ranked in the Legal 500 is looking for a Senior Associate to join their reputable Property Litigation team, working with primarily with commercial real estate disputes on a basis.

With over 200 Solicitors and over 600 colleagues nationally, you would be working alongside Partners in the city of London team to develop the existing Property Litigation Department whilst managing a high quality caseload and assisting with the team's growth plan.

This firm offers excellent progression and a very flexible environment, allowing an ambitious solicitor to quickly develop their career up to a senior level in a thriving firm. They provide a highly competitive salary and excellent hybrid work, with a reputation for developing around key Partners. A breadth of experience in all areas of real estate disputes will be advantageous for this opportunity, with the main client-base focusing on large commercial clients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload of Real Estate Disputes focusing on commercial clients,
• Assist partners with the management of the team, and support junior members of staff in developing their careers and managing cases,
• Develop a client-base following the business plans of those leading the team, handling clients directly and developing ongoing relationships,
• Take instructions and ensure full understanding in order to deliver on client expectations and ensure full compliance,
• Attend client meetings, court hearings and conferences.

Skills and Experience:

• UK qualified Solicitor with 7+ years PQE (other levels to be considered on a case by case basis) in a reputable boutique, or international firm,
• Experience managing a wide variety of commercial property litigation matters, to ideally include landlord and tenant disputes, rights over land, and boundary disputes,
• Ability to lead in relevant matters while assisting junior members of staff,
• A passionate personality with an enthusiasm for personal growth and strong interpersonal skills.
