Property Litigation Solicitor - Legal 200 Firm
Location: Nottingham
2 year PQE +
£45,000 to £90,000


The Firm
My client is a top-tier Legal 200 law firm with a national reputation for excellence and a modern, progressive approach. Operating across a broad spectrum of industries—including real estate, health, education, government, and energy—they are known for combining legal expertise with commercial insight. They are now searching for a Property Litigation Solicitor to join their Commercial Property team.



The Role

  • Advise commercial clients on a range of contentious property matters including lease renewals (1954 Act), dilapidations, rent arrears, break notices, forfeiture, and service charge disputes

  • Act on complex landlord and tenant matters, often involving multi-party interests or high-value property assets

  • Handle real estate litigation arising from development disputes, rights of way, restrictive covenants, and possession actions

  • Support alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and arbitration, as well as running cases through the courts

  • Provide cross-practice support, particularly for the professional indemnity and wider real estate teams

  • Manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision, demonstrating commercial awareness in decision-making

  • Develop strong client relationships and support business development initiatives, including client training, seminars, and content writing

  • A qualified solicitor with demonstrable experience in commercial property litigation

  • Sound technical knowledge of landlord and tenant law and other key real estate dispute areas

  • Confident managing your own caseload, with excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills

  • Proactive and client-focused, with a strong commercial sense and ability to advise practically

  • Comfortable with legal tech and case management systems, including digital dictation and time recording tools

  • A team player who brings energy, initiative, and a willingness to get involved in wider firm life

  • Willing to attend marketing events, network with clients, and contribute to the firm’s profile
