Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Solicitor to join a prominent law firm in Birmingham City Centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and at least 3 years of post-qualification experience, particularly in Residential Litigation. Responsibilities include managing Debt Recovery, breach of lease issues, and FTT Applications. A working knowledge of Civil Procedure rules is essential.

• Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in Residential Litigation.
• Familiar with leases and enforcement of judgments.

• Handle Debt Recovery cases.
• Manage Breach of lease matters.
• Assist with FTT Applications.

Skills

Strong academic background

Familiarity with the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985/1987

The role: Areas of work

• Debt Recovery
• Breach of lease
• FTT Applications
• Lease Analysis
• Lease extensions and variations

The ideal candidate will have

• A strong academic background
• Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience (within areas listed of work listed above)
• A working knowledge of Civil Procedure rules – familiar with leases and enforcement of judgements
• MUST be familiar with the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985/1987 (Long Leasehold)
