Motus Legal Recruitment is partnering with a leading Surrey law firm to recruit a Property Litigation Associate (2+ PQE) based in Guildford with hybrid working (up to 3 days remote). The role offers exposure to high-quality disputes across commercial landlords and tenants, developers, and investors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years PQE in property litigation
• Experience handling landlord and tenant disputes
• Ability to manage a varied caseload with autonomy

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of property litigation matters with appropriate autonomy
• Advising on disputes including commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes
• Possession proceedings and forfeiture matters
• Dilapidations claims
• Easements, rights of way, and boundary disputes
• Lease renewals and termination matters
• Trespass, nuisance, and restrictive covenant issues
• Delivering commercially focused and pragmatic legal advice
• Supporting senior colleagues on complex matters
• Developing and maintaining client relationships

Property Litigation Associate (2 yrs+ PQE)

Location: Guildford with hybrid working (up to 3 days remote)

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000

This top tier law firm seeking to appoint an experienced Property Litigation Associate (2+ years PQE) to join its established and highly regarded Real Estate Disputes team.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of high-quality property litigation matters, advising a diverse client base including commercial landlords and tenants, developers, investors, property management companies, and private clients.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing complex matters, supporting business development initiatives, and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of property litigation matters with appropriate autonomy
• Advising on a wide range of disputes including:
