Job Summary and Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Team Manager/Head of Centre, Leaders is seeking a Property Inventory Clerk to join our dedicated and dynamic team based in Ipswich. Experience is beneficial but not essential. You will be responsible for carrying out detailed inventory reports to ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process for tenants and landlords, as well as conducting mid-term inspections to maintain property standards. The role involves working independently most of the time, so confidence in working solo is important.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Arrange and book property inspections with tenants, conducting approximately 15 inspections or 5-10 inventories daily.
  2. Confirm visits prior to attending.
  3. Collect and return keys from local offices.
  4. Conduct inspections to check:
  • External condition of the property
  • Communal areas (if applicable)
  • Internal condition
  • Compliance with current legislation
  • Property safety and risk assessments
  • Complete inspection reports and follow approval processes.
  • Report maintenance issues to the property manager.
  • Submit reports to landlords and tenants, including a written summary and a prior call if issues are noted.
  • Follow up as diarized for the property manager.

    • Full UK Driving License is required.
