Job Title: Property Inventory Clerk

Leaders, part of the LRG property group, is a well-established and reputable company across the UK, known for providing exceptional property services and a commitment to professionalism, client satisfaction, and expertise in the property market.

Job Summary and Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Team Manager/Head of Centre, we are seeking a Property Inventory Clerk to join our dedicated and dynamic team based in Bournemouth. Experience is beneficial but not essential. The role involves carrying out detailed inventory reports to facilitate smooth check-in/check-out processes for tenants and landlords, as well as conducting mid-term inspections to ensure properties are maintained to the highest standards. While working alongside a team, much of this role will require independent work, so confidence in working solo is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrange and book property inspections with tenants, conducting approximately 15 inspections or 5-10 inventories daily.
  • Confirm visits prior to attending.
  • Collect and return keys from local offices.
  • Conduct inspections, checking:
    • External condition of the property
    • Communal areas (if applicable)
    • Internal condition
    • Compliance with current legislation
    • Property safety and risk assessments
  • Complete inspection reports and manage approval processes.
  • Report maintenance issues to the property manager.
  • Submit reports to landlords and tenants, including written summaries and follow-up calls if issues are noted.
  • Arrange follow-up actions for the property manager.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Ability and confidence to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Full UK Driving License is required.
