Job Summary and key responsibilities:

Reporting to the Team Manager/Head of Centre, Leaders are seeking a Property Inventory Administrator to join our dedicated and dynamic team based in Derby.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a field-based employee, ensure that a professional demeanor and approach to work is maintained at all times and the business is appropriately represented to both clients and the general public alike.
  • Preparation of detailed property Inventories and Schedules of Condition to an exceptional standard.
  • Endeavour at all times to obtain all utility meter readings.
  • Checking the property for potential hazards and immediately reporting any circumstance where hazards have been identified.
  • Advise urgently if, in any respect the property is not ready for occupation.
  • Maintain fluid communication with both the Lettings branches and Property Management team at all times.
  • Carry out property visits and accurately report on findings to the highest standard.
  • Conduct end of tenancy check outs, ensuring that the inventory of contents is complete, noting any damage or deficiencies to the property or contents, endeavouring at all times to read utility meters and advising urgently if cleaning or repairs are necessary.
  • On check-out, ensure that property heating systems are set to an appropriate level for the season, all keys are present, correct and working and the property is left securely whilst facilitating appropriate ventilation.
  • Delivering of notices on the date of issue when required.
  • Provide inter-regional cover / support to colleagues where required
  • Achieving and maintaining relevant industry qualifications.

What are we looking for:

  • Strong organisation and interpersonal skills required as well a good understanding of customer service and an articulate telephone manner.
  • Confident with Microsoft Office (mainly Outlook, Word and Excel). Hive and Propco experience preferable but not essential.
  • Must be comfortable with lone working.
