Were looking for a property professional to lead the development and delivery of our Property Strategy, ensuring it supports the organisations operational priorities. This role involves managing property transactions, overseeing external suppliers, maintaining accurate records and databases, and working closely with internal teams and government departments. Youll also support budgeting and forecasting, lead reporting requirements, and manage a small team to deliver high-quality property services.

Top Responsibilities

  • Manage property acquisitions, disposals, lease negotiations and renewals, rent reviews etc
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on all matters relating to property
  • Work closely with Finance on budgeting and forecasting providing and provide reporting updates
  • Lead on commissioning legal and professional property services
  • Work with key stakeholders to agree and plan a programme of acquisitions and disposals
  • Manage the performance of external consultants and professional services suppliers
  • Oversee the management of the property database including SofTE and SAMP reporting

About you

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience:

  • Holds a professional qualification in property or estates (e.g. MRICS) or has equivalent relevant experience
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and in developing and delivering estate or property strategies within the public or private sector
  • Skilled in managing strategic communications and relationships with internal and external stakeholders
