Job description

We are looking for a Fraud Investigator with a background in property insurance claims handling and fraud investigation, or experience in insurance fraud prevention roles. Knowledge of building pathology is highly desirable. The role involves investigating claims, engaging with customers and third parties for evidence gathering.

A Bit About The Job

This position supports property claims. As a Fraud Claims Investigator, you will review potentially fraudulent claims referred from various sources, investigate them appropriately, and help ensure genuine claims are settled promptly. The primary focus will be on residential and commercial property claims, aligned with policy cover, philosophies, and standards.

You will handle customer interactions, requiring effective telephony skills and the ability to make quick decisions. You will manage your workload while working as part of a team to maintain an active caseload of investigations.

Skills And Experience We’re Looking For

  • Thorough knowledge of the insurance buildings industry related to personal and commercial property.
  • Good technical knowledge and experience of commercial and personal insurance claims, including material damage and consequential loss claims.
  • Understanding of buildings pathology for personal and commercial claims.
  • Experience in insurance fraud investigations and their possible outcomes.
  • Ability to manage personal workload effectively.
