Storm Guard North Metro Denver
We're a locally-owned and nationally-backed roofing and construction company dedicated to restoring homes and exceeding customer expectations. For us, community comes first. The Colorado Front Range is notorious for hail, which means keeping customers’ homes protected from annual storm damage is a top priority. That's where we come in. We don't just fix homes. We provide peace of mind. Our clients experience white-glove service from start to finish, with clear communication and meticulous attention to detail.
For our team members, we offer more than just a job. We foster a supportive work environment where you'll learn from experienced professionals and have access to continuous development opportunities. Here, you have the chance to be part of something bigger than yourself – a team dedicated to protecting our community, one home at a time.
About the Role
This job will play a vital role in data collection that will be used to educate homeowners and empower them to make informed decisions about their properties. In this role, under the general guidance of the company owner, you will be responsible for:
  • Meeting with customers at their property to perform an inspection. During this time the focus is on providing exceptional service and building a long-term, trusting relationship with the customer.
  • Investigating customer concerns and photographing the full property to identify the existing condition of the roof, gutters, siding, paint, windows, fencing, etc. This includes photos of interior and attic.
  • Summarizing inspection results in the CRM for the sales team.
  • Supporting all field activities as needed. This may include investigating a property concern (i.e. leak, emergency tarping) or picking up materials and delivering them to a job site.
  • Managing repair inventory which includes keeping company vehicles clean and organized.
  • Setting ladders and participating in mid-roof and final inspections as needed.
  • Representing the company at community events and festivals, trade shows, and networking events, and industry meetings to enhance the company's visibility and reputation.
About You
Our ideal candidate will be an energetic, self-motivated professional with exceptional work ethic and a strong understanding of the construction industry we serve. To be suitable for this role, you must have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to assess if property damage exists.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Physical agility to allow for: frequent lifting, carrying and climbing a ladder, ability to navigate roofs at various heights, ability to crawl in tight spaces.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible working hours to accommodate appointments that run late or are scheduled on a weekend. This is especially critical after a storm event.
  • Proficiency with computers including MS Office and using phone/ipad for field applications.
  • Experience using a hitch and pulling trailers.
  • Valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Full-Time hourly position with annual bonus potential based on individual and company performance.
