Property Director

Mon to Fri 40 hours per week

Up to £130,000 plus bonus (discretionary)

Leading residential asset management business is seeking an exceptional Property Director to take strategic and operational responsibility across a prestigious, complex property portfolio. The Property Director will lead and motivate the Property Management, Facilities & Asset Management, Estate Standards and Procurement teams and will have the autonomy and influence to shape strategy, raise standards and drive exceptional performance across the estate. This is a highly visible leadership appointment requiring proven senior-level property expertise, strong commercial instincts and the ability to inspire multi-disciplinary teams while confidently engaging at Board and executive level. You will combine strategic thinking with operational credibility, championing exceptional customer experience, robust governance, commercial performance and long-term asset value.

Key responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategies that optimise property performance, operational resilience, service quality and long-term asset value, overseeing property management performance, ensuring consistent service delivery, strong customer focus, statutory compliance and effective management of operational risks, leading facilities and asset management activity to maintain safe, efficient, compliant and well-performing buildings and infrastructure, setting, monitoring and maintaining estate standards, delivering best value through effective procurement of services, robust supplier management, contract performance oversight and strong commercial governance, improving customer experience by ensuring services are responsive, efficient, well-managed and aligned with customer needs across the estate, monitoring operational performance, managing risk, driving continuous improvement and ensuring alignment with company mission, values and regulatory obligations, and providing clear management information, performance reporting and strategic insight to support executive and Board-level decision-making.

The Property Director should have significant senior leadership experience within the property industry, with proven responsibility for operations, asset management, property management, facilities management and service delivery across complex estates or mixed-use portfolios, strong commercial and financial acumen, an in-depth understanding of residential, commercial or mixed-use property operations, proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and third-party partners, and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Relevant professional qualifications or memberships are desirable, such as RICS, IWFM, TPI, IRPM or equivalent property, facilities, asset management or leadership accreditation
