Job summary

DWF is expanding its Commercial Insurance team and seeks a Solicitor or Associate to advise on property damage claims. The role covers first‑party and third‑party property damage, product liability, policy coverage and subrogated recoveries, with hybrid working in Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool or Birmingham.

You will manage your own caseload, support larger matters, and coach junior colleagues while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Prior experience handling insurance property related caseloads (FPPD/TPPD) and subrogated recoveries.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of property related claims and assist on large loss matters.
• Understand client requirements and manage cases in line with SLAs and best practice.
• Analyze risk and justify decisions to clients and internal teams.
• Prioritize work to maximise efficiency.
• Build relationships to develop networks and understand client needs.
• Provide support and act as the go-to person for junior team members.
