Overview

Property Conveyancing Lawyer: Are you a skilled property solicitor looking for a new challenge within a values-led organisation? Join our client as a Property Conveyancing Lawyer (or equivalent) and help them deliver a high-quality, responsive legal service across a diverse property portfolio.

This is a rewarding and varied role where you’ll manage a busy caseload of residential property matters including Right to Buy (RTB), Right to Acquire (RTA), staircasing, shared ownership, and leasehold queries. This is an excellent opportunity to use your legal expertise in a social housing context and make a tangible impact in the communities they serve.

This role is based in Liverpool, with agile working and travel to their St Helens and Warrington offices.

What You ll Be Doing:
  • Manage a caseload of residential property matters including RTB, RTA, staircasing, shared ownership, and leasehold issues.
  • Maintain oversight of the Group s commercial property portfolio, ensuring appropriate support is in place where required.
  • Provide timely and practical legal advice to client departments and maintain accurate records of case progression.
  • Work collaboratively across the business to deliver seamless and customer-focused legal services.
  • Build strong working relationships with external legal providers, ensuring effective use of resources.
  • Contribute to internal training initiatives to improve knowledge and drive operational efficiency.
  • Stay current on legislation, regulatory developments, and legal best practices affecting housing and property law.
  • Actively challenge and improve legal processes to enhance team performance and service outcomes.
What They re Looking For:
  • Degree level education or equivalent relevant training/experience.
  • Professional legal qualification as recognised by the SRA or equivalent body.
  • Significant experience of maintaining a caseload of both transactional matters and otherwise (i.e. drafting leases both residential and commercial).
Interview Process:

The interview will be competency-based to assess your experience and suitability for the role.
