Job summary

Almond is seeking a Property Officer to support asset management and the delivery of safe, high‑quality homes. You will instruct and monitor repairs, conduct inspections, and ensure statutory compliance across health and safety, fire, asbestos and gas.

You will work with tenants, owners, contractors and partners, maintaining records, handling enquiries and contributing to continuous service improvements. The role offers hybrid working with a Livingston office location.

Qualifications

HND in a building-related discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience managing property portfolios and coordinating activities across departments.
Experience with repairs, voids, inspections, risk assessments, stock surveys and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

Instruct, monitor and control repairs for tenants and owners; including void works.
Carry out inspections, risk assessments and stock condition surveys.
Apply statutory requirements for health and safety, fire, asbestos and gas.
Liaise with contractors and partners to arrange works and verify outcomes.
Maintain asset and repairs records and input financial data.
Provide clear advice and resolve routine property issues; escalate high risks.
