Your Responsibilities

The position will be within the busy Property and Casualty claims team. The role is for a mid to senior technical claims handler.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of global casualty claims and providing assistance to the Casualty Advocate and Head of Specialty P&C as well as colleagues on the team.

Qualifications

• Extensive casualty claims experience, preferably in the London Market, with a strong understanding of legal principles of insurance. Claims from General Liability, Product Recall, Contingency, A&H, and other sources.
• Ability to quickly understand a client’s business issues, insurance needs, and expectations, and use that knowledge in claims management.
• Ability to prepare and interpret claims experiences and bordereaux.
• Detailed understanding of direct and Facultative insurance programmes and complex shared and layered programmes.
• Experience in consulting with brokers, underwriters, and clients on claims and insurance needs, representing Lockton professionally.
• Professional qualification is desirable.
