Job description

This role will report directly into the Capital Cost Manager but will also interact with the wider Property teams including BSC, Store Environment, Store Development & Property Finance. This role is primarily a cost reporting role to support in the production of cost reports that will be issued to the Property and Property Finance teams. In addition, this role will support other ad hoc work.

Key accountabilities and measures
  • Engaging with key stakeholders, primarily Finance, across the Property function to prepare business cases for investment in new and existing stores.
  • Create Board approval papers based on Property Board agenda.
  • Translate information into business format (PowerPoint & Excel).
  • Work closely with Programme Management Office to agree key deliverable dates in line with the 3-year Property strategy.
  • Cost administration to support Cost Leads to deliver the capital plan.
  • Track project activity providing updates in relation to business case approvals.

  • Delivery of accurate business cases in a timely manner to meet Property Board timelines.
  • Strong and constructive stakeholder relationships.
  • Robust tracking of business case tracking activity.
