Your Role:

• Work within a specialist legal team focused on property and regeneration transactions.
• Provide expert legal advice on complex and high-profile transactions to senior officers and Council leaders, Committees, and elected members.
• Ensure effective service delivery.
• Support the Council’s commitment to modernisation, including digital transformation initiatives.
• Represent Legal Services as an experienced Property and Regeneration Lawyer.

About You:

We are looking for a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or FILEX with a current practicing certificate, who has:

• Substantial legal experience providing commercial and regeneration property legal advice.
• Strong cooperation skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate yourself and colleagues within the Commercial and Contracts Legal Team.
• A commitment to continuous improvement, inclusivity, and collaborative working.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly and effectively.
