Our client is an international law firm with a core focus on insurance. This top-tier insurance practice advises clients ranging from large multinationals to growing UK corporate firms and other professional practices.

The Role

The Property & Casualty (P&C) team seeks a Senior Associate to join in London. The team is part of the firm's Insurance Group, serving a well-established client base, including many of the leading household and commercial property insurers in the market.

You will handle a variety of claims related to property damage and business interruption losses, including fire, water, subsidence, construction, and impact damage. Responsibilities include advising insurers on coverage issues, acting in coverage disputes, defending claims against insureds, and pursuing subrogated recovery claims.

Key requirements:

• Ideally 5+ PQE.
• Experience advising on coverage and working in High Court litigation, including defence and subrogated proceedings.
• Strong technical knowledge of insurance law, tort, and contract.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Strategic thinking and adaptability to shifting priorities.
• Ability to work well in a team with clients and colleagues.
• Enthusiastic, calm under pressure.
