Job Description:

We have an excellent opportunity to join an expanding, market leading Property Investment Firm as a Property Administrator. Working in a fast-moving environment in Cardiff, you will develop strong relationships with Estate Agents and Building Contractors to ensure delivery of the best and most efficient service possible.

Our client is one of the UK’s leading Property Investment Firms, funding and coordinating residential and commercial building projects.

About the role
As Property Administrator you will be assisting to:

  • Deal with Estate agents to help find new tenants
  • Arrange for contractors to carry out maintenance works
  • Deal with license to occupy, leases and negotiating leasing terms.
  • Make sure properties are well maintained
  • Dealing with dilapidations.
  • Deal with any issues involving contractors, civil litigation etc.
  • Work with the Building Project manager / Architect to ensure that the contractor is adhering to the building contract.
  • Assist Accountants in relation to Auditing, VAT bookkeeping and accounts payable
  • Provide administrational support to the MD or his nominee along with any absence cover for the other admin colleague
  • Dealing with insurance companies / brokers for property insurances etc

About you
As a Property Administrator you must be / have:

  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Sage accounts software.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • A dynamic and structured approach to problem solving and decision making
  • Self-motivation and flexible in work approach
  • A strong desire to continue to learn and develop your skills
  • Well organised and able to communicate at all levels.
  • Able to carry out instructions and requests within deadlines.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • University degree (desirable)
  • Legal experience within the Property Sector (desirable)


About the rewards
This position of Property Administrator can be a full-time or part time role. It comes with an attractive salary of circa £25,000 to £50,000 per annum (for full time) depending on experience with opportunities for progression. In order to receive an offer towards the upper end of the salary band, the successful applicant’s previous experience must match closely with the points listed in this advert.
