About BNF
We are a thriving, FCA-regulated, single-family office based in the heart of London, managing a multi-billion dollar portfolio. Our interests span real estate, private equity, financial instruments and debt, with property playing a key role in our long-term investment strategy.

BNF Capital is excited to announce that we are hiring for a Property Accountant. With a strong culture of professionalism, discretion, and high performance, we’re looking for someone who shares our values and can confidently manage the financial operations of our property portfolio.

The opportunity

As our Property Accountant, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end accounting for our property investment structures (SPVs), supporting the Financial Controller and wider finance team. You’ll play a hands-on role in everything from financial reporting and VAT returns to cash flow forecasting, tax compliance and year-end audit prep. You’ll also liaise regularly with external property managers and ensure our accounting records are accurate, timely and compliant.

This isn’t your average finance role - it’s a broad and impactful position in a lean, ambitious team, where your work directly supports major investment decisions and business strategy.

What you’ll do:

  • Managing the full accounts lifecycle for multiple property SPVs.
  • Reviewing financial reports from property managers (e.g. Workman, City Relay, Colliers).
  • Preparing and reviewing invoices, rent charges, and managing arrears.
  • Completing VAT returns, overseeing Corporation Tax, CIS, and ATED compliance.
  • Producing accurate financial statements and liaising with auditors during the year-end process.
  • Creating detailed cash flow forecasts and helping validate property valuations.
  • Supporting financial controls and providing insights that help drive smart decisions.
What we’re looking for

We don’t expect perfection - but here’s what would make someone a great fit:

  • A background in property accounting or financial accounting, ideally in a regulated or investment-focused environment.
  • Experience preparing statutory accounts, VAT returns, and managing tax for property entities.
  • Proficient in Excel, Sage, and comfortable learning new systems (like Papersave).
  • Either part-qualified in AAT/ACCA/ACA/ICAS (or equivalent), or with equivalent international experience.
  • Highly organised, analytical, and proactive with a real eye for detail.
Bonus points if you have...
  • Confidence navigating complex property tax matters like ATED, CIS, and capital allowances.
  • Hands-on experience preparing SPV statutory accounts and liaising with auditors.
  • Previously worked with property managers or within a multi-entity accounting environment.
At BNF Capital, you'll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team working at the forefront of global investment strategy. We combine professionalism with personality - bringing rigour to our work while fostering a genuinely supportive and inclusive culture. Our state-of-the-art Central London office provides a modern and inspiring space to do your best work and we offer a flexible benefits scheme that allows you to tailor your package to suit your lifestyle. We also know the importance of downtime, which is why we make space for team socials and moments to connect beyond the day-to-day. If you're looking for a place where your ideas are valued, your growth is supported and your work really matters - we’d love to hear from you.
