Property Accountant - 12 months FTC

Property Accountant with service charge experience
12 months FTC - Potential to go permanent
Hybrid working pattern: 3 days in and 2 days from home

Key duties:

  • Calculate, allocate, and process billing for service charges.
  • Monitor and reconcile service charge income and expenses for accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for property accounts.
  • Maintain detailed ledgers and ensure transactions comply with accounting standards.
  • Collaborate on service charge budgeting and forecast future maintenance costs.
  • Perform bank and accrual reconciliations and process journal entries.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in service charge statements.
  • Utilise property management software to streamline accounting processes.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for service charge enquiries.
  • Assist with audit preparations by gathering and organising supporting documentation.

Proficient in Excel (Vlookups and Pivot tables)
