Job description

Atop financial services contractor is looking to employ a Proofreader to join their growing team on a contract basis for at least 3 months (potential for longer term work/permanent placement depending on workload), to be based in their brand new offices in the West End of Edinburgh. Hours are 0745 - 1600, Monday to Thursday, with a 1pm finish on a Friday.

About the role:
  • You will be responsible for proofreading confidential documentation, ensuring that there are no spelling errors or mistakes throughout the transcription. You may also be supporting the mailing department, sorting & putting documentation into envelopes for posting.
What you will need:
  • Candidates will need to have a strong attention span as there is a great volume of work.
  • You will be required to pass a basic credit check prior to beginning assignment due to the financial nature of the documentation.
