Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services, is currently recruiting for a Quality Manager on behalf of a well-known company in the Energy sector.

Job Role

We are seeking a Project Quality Manager to serve as the subject matter expert, assisting in planning all key quality activities across the project lifecycle and advising the Project Director/Senior Project Manager on quality assurance matters.

The role is responsible for:

  1. Allocating document numbers and managing quality assurance resources on the project, including monitoring quality inspection resources.
  2. Managing customer interface regarding quality to ensure issues are effectively resolved to their satisfaction.
  3. Managing external interfaces related to quality matters, such as registration bodies and industry organizations.
  4. Ensuring appropriate reporting regarding the quality management of the project.
  5. Assisting work package managers in failure prevention, NRC closure, and addressing other quality issues as they arise.
  6. Overseeing supplier selection and ongoing surveillance/monitoring activities related to quality.
  7. Planning and managing daily team activities proactively and reactively, including audits, inspections, continuous improvement activities, and CAPA during the project lifecycle.
  8. Identifying training needs related to quality and educating project employees on methodologies such as risk analysis, FMEA, review techniques, cause-effect analysis, 8-D method, and process awareness.

Requirements for this position:

  1. Experience working in highly regulated industries, ideally in Electricity, Utilities, Energy, or Construction.
  2. Significant experience in a senior operational quality role, such as a Quality Manager in a project office environment.
  3. Experience working across all levels of a project.
  4. Proven experience working in a matrix organization supporting large infrastructure projects.
