About the role

This is a varied role supporting the delivery of key projects and activities that contribute to our Professional Standards work. You’ll play an important role in coordinating projects, developing resources, organising high-profile events and webinars, producing communications, managing online learning content, and using data to support effective decision-making.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, as well as senior professionals and external stakeholders, so this is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing competing priorities and making things happen.

What you’ll be doing

You will:

  • Support the development, maintenance and review of high-quality resources and deliverables, ensuring agreed standards and processes are followed.
  • Coordinate projects within the Professional Standards workstream, including planning, monitoring progress and developing templates and systems to support delivery.
  • Develop effective administrative systems and processes to support the smooth delivery of Professional Standards activities.
  • Draft and maintain clear, accurate and accessible communications for websites and other channels.
About you

We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, adaptable and confident working across a varied portfolio of projects and activities.

You will have proven project administration experience and the ability to deliver multiple projects or services to set timelines and budget. The successful postholder will also have experience in planning and coordinating workshops, focus groups and events, including online/virtual events. Experience in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, ideally Salesforce and experience of collating, interpreting and reporting data is essential.

If you’re a confident project coordinator who enjoys working with people, solving problems, improving processes and delivering high-quality work, we’d love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will share our corporate values. In return, the College offers excellent terms and conditions and a great working environment.

The Royal College of General Practitioners is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
