Job Title: Network Engineer

Are you a talented Network Engineer with a passion for designing and delivering cutting-edge network solutions? Join our team and play a crucial role in supporting infrastructure and business projects, both on-premise and cloud-based.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with suppliers, third parties, and internal design specialists/architects to transform high-level ideas into detailed technical designs.
• Provide guidance on availability, security, compliance, and capacity planning for proposed solutions.
• Partner with technical and non-technical teams, as well as third parties, to specify, deploy, test, document, and implement new systems.
• Offer technical advice on projects, ensuring seamless planning, testing, documentation, and implementation.
• Contribute to virtual project teams to deliver innovative project designs and new solutions.
• Work with Infrastructure support teams and project managers to translate requirements into actionable steps and design specifications.
• Provide efficient and reliable third-line support when needed.
• Engage fully with third-party suppliers to meet security requirements across the retail and digital estate.

This role is field-based and requires weekly travel across the UK. International travel may also be possible but less frequent.

Qualifications:

• Proven Network Engineering experience with recognized qualifications or demonstrable expertise.
• Ability to travel to sites in the UK and occasionally to Europe and beyond.
• Experience with Firewall Technologies such as Checkpoint, Fortigate, Cisco Firewalls is desirable.
• ITIL certification or experience with ITIL practices including incident, problem, and change management.
• Passion for your work, positive attitude, adaptability, and ability to inspire team environments.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
