Job Description

A rare opportunity has opened up to join a top-tier Projects, Energy & Infrastructure team known for its entrepreneurial spirit and collaborative culture. This is an ideal move for a mid-level lawyer looking to step into early responsibility, work on market-leading transactions, and be part of a high-performing team that’s shaping the future of the UK’s infrastructure and energy landscape.

You’ll be advising on some of the most exciting real estate and energy projects across the UK and internationally, from hydrogen and battery storage to urban regeneration and major commercial developments. The focus is on transactional construction and engineering matters, with an emphasis on career development and high-quality work.

What You Can Expect

  • Competitive salary
  • Life assurance, private medical and dental cover
  • Tech, cycle and electric car schemes
  • Generous parental policies and flexible working options
  • Gym discounts, retail perks and volunteering leave
  • Focused wellbeing support – physical, emotional, financial and social
  • A strong sense of community and purpose

Your Role Will Include

  • Leading smaller matters with minimal supervision
  • Supporting partners and managing associates on complex transactions
  • Drafting construction documentation including JCT, NEC, FIDIC and bespoke forms
  • Advising on infrastructure, decarbonisation and commercial real estate projects
  • Collaborating with real estate finance, corporate and disputes teams
  • Mentoring junior associates and trainees
  • Attending client meetings, seminars and networking events

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified UK solicitor (or equivalent experience in UK transactional construction law)
  • Strong track record in non-contentious construction, infrastructure and development projects
  • Ability to manage your own files and deliver commercial, pragmatic advice
  • Experience with development agreements, funding structures and real estate transactions
  • Confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Organised, self-motivated and committed to continuous improvement
  • A genuine interest in clean energy, infrastructure and future-focused sectors

Who This Will Suit

This is a great fit for someone who’s technically strong, commercially minded and eager to grow in a team that values independence, collaboration, and entrepreneurial thinking. If you’re looking to be part of something dynamic and make an impact from day one, this could be the move for you.
