Orbit Group seeks an Assistant Accountant - Projects on a fixed-term contract until November 2027. You will own processing and reconciling complex project and fixed asset data, support improvements to financial controls, and contribute to implementing new accounting standards.

Qualificações

• AAT qualification or progress towards ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA/ICAEW or equivalent.
• Strong Excel skills including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS and data validation.
• Excellent attention to detail with accuracy in financial data.
• Strong organisation and communication skills to meet deadlines with colleagues and auditors.

Responsabilidades

• Process and reconcile project financial data and fixed asset data.
• Support improvements to financial controls and systems.
• Contribute to the implementation of new accounting standards (e.g., FRS 102).
• Collaborate with finance teams and stakeholders to ensure accuracy.
