Job summary

James Robertshaw & Sons (1954) Ltd in Bolton is seeking a Projects Estimator to join the busy estimating team. You will work with clients to determine the best product specifications, create quality quotations in Excel and Word, and coordinate timescales and installation requirements.

The role requires strong IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), excellent communication, and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. On-site, permanent, full-time with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' customer service experience (required).
• Experience in sales support or administrator role in a customer-focused environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
• Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients to determine best product specifications for site conditions.
• Produce quotations using Excel and Word with accurate costing.
• Calculate travel and installation times, factoring access equipment.
• Liaise with suppliers to keep costs up to date in systems and price lists.
• Support administration with customer inquiries and costing advice.
• Provide cover for administration during annual leave.
