The Opportunity

As a Project Engineer, you will lead site-based engineering projects, working cross-functionally with stakeholders across the business. You will manage all project stages, including scoping, planning, execution, and post-review, ensuring smooth, safe, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Engineering Manager and teams to define project requirements.
  • Lead project meetings and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Create and manage project schedules with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Oversee daily project activities, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards, reviewing contractor RAMS, and managing permits to work.
  • Conduct post-project reviews with Engineering and Finance managers.
The Ideal Candidate

We value collaboration and diverse perspectives. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Level 3 (or above) qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification.
  • Experience managing contractors in an engineering environment.
  • Knowledge of PUWER 98 and Machinery Directive.
  • Strong planning, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • A full UK driving license and willingness to travel across sites and suppliers.
