Projects Director - Data Centre Project - London, UK

We have an exciting opportunity to work with a company that specializes in commissioning, QA, and consulting services for mission-critical facilities. They have a prestigious portfolio of clients and a presence in over 30 countries. They are currently seeking a Projects Director for their London-based office.

Main Responsibilities

1. Reporting: Will report directly to the VP.
2. Commissioning Management Leadership for Execution of Mission Critical Commissioning: Oversee and provide direction for commissioning projects, supporting the commissioning management teams in processes and project management.
3. Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the commissioning management team, ensuring excellence in execution and delivery.
4. Leadership for Continuous Improvement: Drive strategy for commissioning projects, including adopting new approaches.
5. Develop and Maintain Client Relationships: Support clients in managing and communicating during the commissioning phase. Serve as a trusted advisor, understanding their requirements, and proactively engaging to provide ongoing support. Foster strong relationships through effective communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Relevant technical engineering experience or related field.
• Mandatory experience in data centre commissioning.
• Project management qualifications are desirable.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Extensive experience in the data centre and mission-critical industry.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for commissioning.
