Job summary

Lipson Lloyd-Jones is seeking a Construction Solicitor at NQ-2PQE level to handle a non-contentious workload within a well established team in London.

You will work with private and public sector clients, including property owners, developers and investors, with exposure to JCT, NEC and EPC contracts and risk management on live schemes.

The team focuses on procurement strategies from the outset and collaborates with our network when handling international projects across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Non-contentious construction experience required.
• NQ-2PQE level required.
• Familiarity with JCT, NEC and EPC forms.

THE ROLE

We have a vacancy for a Construction Solicitor NQ-2pqe to handle a non-contentious construction workload as a member of a well established team

Clients include private and public institutions, property owners and investors, developers, funders, contractors, specialist sub-contractors, suppliers and construction/design consultants

The team is involved with projects from the outset and works with clients to shape their procurement and contracting strategies. Agreements they help to prepare vary from project specific EPC and EPCM contracts to multi-party and partnering working arrangements, and encompass NEC and traditional JCT contracts

The team also has extensive experience of advising on risks in live schemes, including preventing the failure of construction projects

Much of the focus is in the UK but they also advise on a range of international projects across many jurisdictions and work with our network of trusted international law firms and consultants where appropriate.

THE CANDIDATE

You will have gained relevant non contentious construction experience and be at the NQ-2pqe level.

Candidates will be expected to have a good working knowledge of the various standard form contracts and appointments, including JCT, NEC and EPC forms
