Overview

Projects Coordinator (Community and Training projects) (on-site) – Suffolk New College.

Starting salary is £32,172 per annum. 37 hours per week for 52 weeks a year (onsite).

This dynamic and varied role is integral to the delivery of Suffolk New College’s ambitious programme of capital developments, new business training and community learning initiatives and curriculum enrichment projects. You will be one of three Projects Coordinators in the team, with a combined focus on the development and delivery of smaller projects and initiatives, completing funder claims and paperwork, liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop and deliver activities, and providing the coordination function for employer engagement across college as a lynchpin of our employer-led programmes. As a team, we are collaborative, supporting each other, and sharing out tasks in an agile way to meet demand.

This particular role will have a special focus on developing and delivering new community learning and training projects, working closely with new and existing community and business contacts and internal curriculum teams, but will also be expected to carry out wider project coordination and delivery tasks as needed.

Requirements and work arrangements
  • Multi-campus role; may be required to work at and travel between campuses (predominantly between the Suffolk Rural and Ipswich campuses, with significant work at the Coast site in Leiston as Sizewell C links develop).
  • Access to personal transport is essential; if using your own vehicle, insurance must cover business use and evidence may be requested before travel claims are paid.
