Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial and financial management of a diverse portfolio of engineering and project delivery contracts. You will partner with senior leadership, project teams, finance and procurement to drive governance, cost control and project performance.

You will contribute to contract management, forecasting, reporting and value-led decision making, with exposure to high-value contracts and complex project environments in a busy Hull-based

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Commercial Manager or similar leadership role.
• Experience managing financial and commercial performance of projects and contracts.
• Strong understanding of contract management and governance principles.
• Experience developing budgets, forecasts and cost reports.
• Experience preparing monthly management accounts and project reports.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen.
• Experience in fast-paced project delivery environments.
• Ability to analyse financial information and provide commercial insight.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial and financial management of projects from inception through to close out.
• Provide visibility of contract financial performance via monthly management accounts.
• Support robust contract controls and governance processes.
• Conduct audits and reviews to identify performance improvements.
• Ensure effective financial controls are implemented and maintained.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and governance requirements.
• Support project and operational teams in achieving financial targets.
• Liaise with project management, finance, procurement and operations.
• Review contract terms and client invoices for accuracy.
• Assist with contract valuations, applications for payment and reporting.
• Support variation management and cost/value reporting.
• Implement cost monitoring and control mechanisms.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with accurate data.
