Overview

We’re hiring a Projects Assistant to provide administrative and coordination support to our project delivery team based in Derby.

We specialise in sustainable water asset management solutions, delivering exceptional value outcomes in potable water, wastewater and the environment.

What you'll be doing
As a Projects Assistant, you will report to the Project Manager and play a key role in keeping our projects running smoothly by providing vital coordination and administrative support. • Provide day-to-day administrative support for regional project teams • Maintain accurate records, including H&S documents and temporary works files • Upload and update project documentation using our internal systems • Send out training invites and monitor completion via iHasco • Keep the Esite platform up to date with relevant project information • Take meeting notes and provide direct support to the Regional Director • Create job entries and assemble RAMS packs for inspections • Prepare presentation slides for monthly reporting • Communicate weekly project updates to clients • Collaborate with the SHWEQ team to support and promote our safety culture
Who we’re looking for

• Previous experience working in an administrative role, ideally within a project or construction-based environment• Strong IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)• Excellent communication skills, especially when working with dispersed teams• A positive, can-do attitude and the willingness to go above and beyond• Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
