Projects and Development Assistant
Are you ready to join a dynamic and forward thinking Projects & Development Team within a leading UK based agricultural business? Operating across multiple sites in the South East, the team is at the heart of innovation and infrastructure, driving projects that range from new accommodation and facility upgrades to energy, sustainability, and land use development.
The Role
Our client is seeking a motivated and organised individual to join the Projects & Development Team as a Projects & Development Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their career who is eager to gain hands on experience in planning, project management, and strategic business initiatives.
Working closely with the Projects & Development Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a wide variety of infrastructure and energy projects. This role offers a unique chance to be involved in turning ambitious ideas into tangible results within a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
What You Will Be Doing
Assist in managing planning applications and liaising with external consultants such as architects and environmental specialists.
Support project tracking, scheduling, and coordination to ensure timely delivery.
Help maintain communications with stakeholders including landowners, local authorities, and neighbouring communities.
Maintain accurate project records and contribute to internal reports and presentations.
Conduct research into potential business opportunities and areas for strategic growth.
What You Will Need
A degree in Business, Project Management, Land/Property, Agriculture, or a related discipline.
Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
A proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
