Overview

Our service gives young people experiencing homelessness a housing solution. Our service offers housing related support to assist our service users to move into their own tenancy and gain independence. Here you will find a welcoming team who are all enthusiastic and motivated to empower the people we support to live independently. This is a really rewarding role where you will see the people we support develop and grow and build on their confidence to be able to move on into their own tenancy in the Monmouthshire area.

Responsibilities
  • Engaging and interacting with our service users
  • Writing and following a support plan with the individual you are supporting
  • Liaising with external agencies
  • Addressing any additional needs, the people we support might have

Our motivation is to ensure we equip these individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to live independently. This is a challenging role and you will be faced with complex behaviours and needs, including alcohol misuse, mental health, substance misuse and offending behaviour. You will work with a range of different personalities and behaviours so you will need to be able to adapt your approach to engage with a diverse cliental.

Requirements
  • Have knowledge of housing related support and benefit systems
